Food safety systems and risk management
Food safety is both a legal requirement and good business practice. If you manufacture, store, transport or export food products you must follow good manufacturing practice and comply with New Zealand Legislation under the Animal Products Act 1999 and/or the Food Act 1981. If you are intending to export these products there may be additional overseas market access requirements to be met.
